A good system

A few weeks back, i bought a stereo system and i named what i had ( in another thread ). Well my friends and i installed it, it took hours but it is finally finished, and OMG does it sound good! If anybody out there is looking for some good subs, then "power acustic" is definitley a good way to go. And i have two 6x9 pioneer speakers in the back and since we havn't installed the front ones yet, we just turn my system on and listen to the rear speakers and it sounds twice as good as the front and rear stock speakers by far. We still have a little work to do on it but i just wanted to update everyone on how it sounded ( the best ).

yeah, we both did you did the majority though because i dont know crap about wiring.

and yeah i meant to say 4x6 but last night my dad kept reffering to my speakers as "the 6x9's" ( i guess that is what he thought they were ) so i got that stuck in my head.

yea its so hard to hook up a posotive wire and a capaciter to the posostive terminal and the ground the negative then hook up the rem to the back of the deck huh? Hooking up an amp isnt the hardest thing thing in the world n00b. Tell me what I did wrong and I will admit it but I didnt, so nice try.

their a lot more more that just positive and negative to car audio, like resistance maybe you should check your subs, i believe power acustic amps are only 2 ohm stable its very possable you could have wired the subs wrong. or maybe you dont have an ear for distortion and had your gains to high.

I already had my subs checked, and they are fine, i thought they blew because of how they sounded ( it could have fooled anyone right??? ) but the people at bestbuy say it is the amp.

i hope the warrentee the amp so you dont get screwed. before you hook up the new subs i would take a multi-meter and check the resistence and make sure it is up to spec. how many subs did you have? and where they 4ohm or 8 ohm subs?
