if you use the McKinney mounts you can use your crossmember that's in the car... however if you are close to an R32 and can get its crossmember..... very rare outside of japan, you can use that.

Ah..hello...just thought I'd let you know you forgot swap # 6! Granted it takes more work, and a bit of custom work, but u forgot the VG30dett. YES it does fit though pretty snugged. I should know, others have done it that I've seen, and I've got one waiting to go in mine as well. Go check out niccoclub forums. There's a thread with a couple pics.

na i didnt forget it.... its not common

the VG has been done much.... not really new in this world.. it just requires more work than its worth. the VG is a solid motor, but i would never do it personally.

at this rate, the LS1 is more common but still not common enough to add to this list.

True it's not as common as the SR and RB's but I guess despite the extra work that's one of the main reasons I'm doing it. Because it's different and not the same swap everyone else does. Right now my main issue aside from getting help to do it, (though a good friend of mine is spose to be helping me at some point when I can get his a$$ here)cause mechanical wise I really don't have the knowledge to install a motor alone, is I need to find an M30 crossmember. So if you know anyone who might have one please let me know.

I hear you bro... before i went Ka-T i was about 1 day from buying a Vg30et lol.. so i looked into it much. i just didn't have the time.

best bet would be to go to N i C o club to find the crossmember and or the junkyard there should be some there.

good luck and post it up when you start man

Will do. I've been looking there, you'd think with cars being parted out you'd find one somewhere but so far no luck there. Had one dude off the ifiniti site in hawaii that had one along with the arms and bolts too, he was gonna send me, but 100 for the xmember & on top the shipping was like nearly 300 bucks. More than I could afford right now. I think I have an email from a place that had one for like 65-75 bucks. If they still got it i'll prob just go with them. I've got a J30 sitting here too that I'm trying to part out after I get some stuff off it for my car. Like the rear, and 5 lug conversion for the back I think...was told it wouldn't work on the front I believe it was. And the oil pan and motor mounts.
