Draining gas tank

I have a '90 240sx hatchback. Im finishing my swap right now and extremely close to startup. I was wondering if there was a way to drain our gastanks, something like a drain plug. I need to get old 87 octane out of there. If not i guess i can just cyphon it out. I know i could use octane booster but i would rather get some fresh 93 in there

here is an easy way to do it... disconnect the fuel line going to your fuel filter put it in a gas can or several if you had a lot of gas in it turn the key to run and let it go... watch the can fill up and dont over fill it... then dump the gas in your other car...or in a friends car... with the price of gas they aint gunna cry bout you fillin their tank...

i have a 89 240sx i just bought it and i know its ben sitting for at least 2 months and it doesnt run if i take the gas line off the fuel filter should i just turn the key to the accesories (when the radio and lights turn on i think thats what it is correct me if im wrong) and itll drain just like that? and will that mess up the fuel pump?

you can disconnect it anywhere in the engine bay as long a you can fit a can you something in there to catch the gas. if its quiet out you can turn the key till you hear your feul pump turn on.once you hear it come on let it sit and watch your can fill up.i dont know tho if its timed or has a pressure switch or not so if you hear it come onand after 10 sec or so it gos off just turn your key back to off and turn it on again. sure beats getting gas in your mouth
