What are people using to tune OBDII?
I just want to basically get the functionality of a SAFC on my obdii 240sx. I see a lot of discussion obdi and those that converted to early ecus.
Is there an option?
Thanks

well you can tune obd1 and 2 generally with the same thing.. the issue with obd2 is more electronics with the stock ecu come into play and alters the tune a bit.. things such as pulling timing when the CEL is on, emissions controls etc
as far as converting to older ecu... only way you can do that is to put all obd1 items on the car.. TPS ( generally whole s13 dohc manifold) distrubuter wire harness and ecu.
obd1 is much smoother to tune hands down...with safc.

What's everyone using for the OBDII then? I just want to do the basic tune that people are doing to get that 10 or so HP out of an NA setup and maybe something I can use once I go KA-T if I don't just swap a SR in.

ordering a consult cable...what kind of software is out there for the OBDII 240SX`s
none of them are clear on the KA24DE models. Most sites I see 91-94 S14 then 95 KA24DE and 96-98 S14 SR20
I have obdscan.net`s software already...but that just gives the basics
help.
