EMU install

I have a 95 Altima with ka24de, its has a turbo and i am forging a new engine for it and i am planing on installing an EMU and i was wondering if i can use the harness for the 240sx in my altima. Ive heard that the ecu in both are the same but not sure.
thanks for all the help.

DAMN! Forging your own engine?! Do a write up dude! Thats some heavy duty ****.

Anyways I would think the harness wouldnt even be close to being the same dimensions.

I am keeping the engine same bore but stoked a little and all new pistons, rods, cams, fuel injectors, etc. it is a pretty big project but i already have put a turbo on a 95 altima with custom built down pipe and intercooler piping. ill post pics when the engine work is started.

I don't think you caught my sarcasm. You said you we're forging your engine.

Back on topic though, you are talking about using a 240 wiring harness in an Altima, correct? The engine harness? I dont know for sure but I can't imagine that a harness designed for a RWD engine would fit on a FWD engine.

and also, personally i wouldnt stroke the already 96 stroke on the KA. its already too long. if anything, get a destroke, and bore it out a little, keeping similiar total displacement, but having less stroke, allowing it to rev higher. this would also have to be accompanied by a fully counterwieghted crank, with new pulleys, and probably an aluminum flywheel and aluminum driveshaft. just use the correct harness in the proper car.

im talking about a harness from the ecu to the emu. they sell them on http://www.boomslang.us/ultimate.htm but they dont have on for an altima and i was told that a 240sx ka harness would work.

I believe that the stanza ecu is compatible with the 240sx SOHC engines. I don't believe that the Altima ecu and 240sx are compatible.
As far as ecu swap, install and upgrades www.antrx.com is more specialized in front wheel drive KA24's and sr20's for Australian based u12's, and u13's. I would go to there forum as they have much broader knowledge on the front wheel drive KA, and ecu upgrades.
