woah, a stock red top? No way your factory brakes can handle that!
Only factory japanese brakes can handle it cuz they aren't like the factory brakes we have, cuz they are JDM and all.
I have an S14 Blacktop w/ Garrett GT2871R at 18lbs (est.325whp) on factory brakes. Your factory brakes will stop you fine with your little 180whp.

You don't need bigger brakes, you need to learn how to drive better. That's all, you can have 400whp and bigger brakes aren't going to save you from a wall if you're trying to be the next Takumi or Akio. Just drive like a normal person on the way to school/work or whatever and you'll be fine. Stopping from 70 is stopping from 70 whether you've got 100 whp or 1000 whp.

Just strip interior if your that worried about it. That will be alot less weight to stop therefore giving you better stopping abilities.

I agree...you don't NEED big brakes. If you WANT them, then read reviews on the brand you're interested in. As far as getting them cheap, just know you get what you pay for. If you don't mind used bbk's, SEARCH around for people that might have them for sale.
