Aftermarket Tach installation

I have a 1990 240sx, with a KA24E and I am trying to wire a Tenzo R Tach. I know the basics...red-power, black-ground, brown or blue to dimmer switch, but I've been told for RPM's green to coil.....but I have two green wires on my coil? So wich one? And any other tips would be awesome.

Can I ask why you need an aftermarket tach on a (assuming) stock KA24E?

you can always test both wires, just put your tongue on them one at at time.

No, actually it's not a stock KA24E....It has Aftermarket headers, piping, exhaust, intake and mass airflow sensor. All of which is smog legal in Ca. And because everything in my gauge cluster is aftermarket.

well if you want to talk with someone who knows something, first you need to know what you're talking about. you clain to drive a 180sx with a kae, aftremarket gauge cluster, headers, maf, blah, blah, blah.

sounds like a rice bucket to me.

Alright...Check it out little kid, I'm not here to argue with you. I do own a 240sx and in the future will be a 180sx.....sorry for having dreams. But for right now I don't have the original gauges in the car, and I have my own that I have hand chosen and installed. Now all I am looking for is a little help with my Tachometer. If you can't help then stop writing me. Maybe tell me someone who can.
Ohh and your KA24E looks real cool.........Rice bucket my ***.

Geez, here we go again. why cant we all just get along. All he wants is alittle help, just give it to him, no matter how stupid it sounds.

Hey man, im new here and just got into wiring so i know how you feel.

Go to zilvia or 240sxforums, i ran across google showing that others have done this mod before and had questions about it. Try there if no one here will help.

for me,its trial and error. Try connecting the wires up to where you think it goes to. If they work, they work.If not, try a different wire. Hope that helps.
