Aldins KAT build

well im going to be going turbo as ive been saying from when i joined this forum
ive made a list of parts and rough prices, i just want to run it by everyone to see if it sounds about right

bottom mount turbo manifold - 95$
sr20det down pipe with flex - 100$
Clutch - 200$
dump pipe - 63$
air hot pipe - 46$
Exhaust - 200$
intercooler and piping - 150$
SAFC - 150$
TUNE - 100$
BOV -- + 150$
__________________________________________________ _____

Aproximate total 1254$

if anyone has any parts on this list that i can get a better deal for let me know

aslo the manifold im going with is cast iron,
please give me your input

what turbo?

and yes to wideband and bigger injectors. also z32 maf or a q45 maf

also you need oil lines for the turbo and coolant if the turbo uses coolant and you need to tap you oil pan for the oil return

you probably want an actual turbo. I suggest you do it right the first time and purchase a new turbocharger and invest a decent amount of money into the fuel/tuning setup. safc's are very 1999.

cool let us know how it turns out.

I am a supporter of Safc but after looking back... I was so limited. for low level fun.. they are cool 550cc injectors are your limit.

i was gonnna use my t25, isnt it also possible to drop a grand into various other parts and make around the same power N/A

hm well i know the have like KAs have like 150 crank hp how much wheel do they have then

Well 150bhp is stock for an S14 . . .figuring drivetrain loss, you're probably looking at like 110-120.

JRamos or Biggamehit are probably a better source on this one

Yeah, it's possible, but it aint cheap. Check out BigVinnie's post on his build. He has a total breakdown, I believe, of all of the prices and what each did.
