Best Stock turbos for a Ka- T build
#31
well i already have the turbo it just needs rebuilt (excessive shaft play) and i need to try and find a stock intercooler setup and piping for a stock SR... along with sr injectors i'm not trying to skimp out on the important stuff but i need to try and cut corners and shave some cost some how so thats why i'm trying to get used stuff or rebuilt stuff vs brand new... now one thing i can't skimp on is fuel / engine management... so other than a safc what are other cheap alternatives for fuel/ engine management?

As far as fuel management goes, e-manage is what I used on my old setup. It's pretty versatile. The more you upgrade and build your motor, essentially the more tuning variables you're going to want to manipulate, a piggy-back will only take you so far.
If you're looking for real tuning, I'd probably go for a stand-alone. Though you can definitely reach your power goals on a piggy-back, and safely might I add.
I know you posted this question a few weeks ago, but...yeah. Keep us posted.
Edit: By the way, Spencer is correct about doing it the right way to start. I'm sure he and many others have gone through the headache of parts failing or having to go back and correct something. You end up saving money in the end if you do it right initially.
