KA24DE swap, there is fuel, engine cranks, NO SPARK?!
Hi guys, I helped a friend to swap a stock motor on his s14 95 SE model, it's a direct engine to engine swap with no wiring modification, basically just remove old motor and replace with a new one.
Here is the problem.
The car will crank over all day long and i can hear its a healthy motor, compression is good, except, there is absolutely no spark.
I've checked all the ground point, checked all the fuse, check the ECU, make sure the battery is got decent power, swap out to another distributor, changed the plugs and and the spark plug wires and yet still no spark. I've try to follow the service manual for checking the distributor and it seems to check out fine, but I've exhausted all my ways to the best of my knowledge and Now i'm hoping for some help? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Check your power transister. it's on the ignition coil.
also check your wiring harness around the fan area for cuts or breaks it could be a grounding problem. hope this help.

Thanks

look at the pic. It is the main wiring harness that goes across the radiator and the fan shroud, I marked it in green.
