the 240sx is a great car. if you enjoy tooling on your car, and have another daily driver.

to increase the performance of a 240sx to match a 350z you'll have to invest heavily into it. each has it's pros and cons. i would say i'm ~$7000 in my 240sx with the purchase of the car. it still needs to have the brake issue worked out, new suspension, wheels, tires, and paint. easily hit $15k before it's done. that's not factoring in the fact that i'll do most of it at myself.

i enjoy tooling on my 240sx. but i'll be honest a 350z is probably faster right now. To really do it right, it will not be cheap. Period.

if you're even debating this option. i would recommend you not touch your 240sx, and just purchase your 350z. sell the 240sx to people like me who enjoy torturing themselves by hunting down gremlins for limited gains.

If you get a 350z remember that insurance is going to be THROUGH THE ROOF. 350z's have one of, if not the, highest death rates of any car.
ry ry ry..you know me too well my friend....the RB26 to 240 swap would be insane...but, i would rather have that 7.5 months and 15k back...**** that..i'll buy other ****..just seems like such and expensive swap...i'd rather drop in an LSx and call it a day

but yes...the insurance is going to be high as **** as well

I'm done with the 14, clutch, LSD dif and finally drop in the cams and the ported mani from Vince. Then it is over for that car.

Next stop, well, Tripp knows its still in debate, but I think Tripp knows what I want to do for under 20K against my **** hole in-law. But more on that new project later.

lol if i had the money to buy a 350z brand new id bad a 2005-2007 Subaru STi instead hands down. im actually looking for a 2005 STi right now for a DD.

somtimes i think about it and say if i have a STi will i even drive my 240 anymore and it makes me consider selling my 240 and having a slightly modded STi DD but i dunno anymore cause my 240 is my first car that i have built so much of with my own hands its kinda hard to get rid of lol.

About the STi, yeah that would be a fun DD, up the boost a little and youre more than happy as a DD... for about a month or two, then you start going into debit again with parts and service and...

And hell yeah Tripp, I'm raping that gay *** porsche! let him think he has the win, then 3rd gear sets in and... the porsche... seems to... slow... down... to a stop...

Then my alarm wakes me up to get ready for work.

im a mechanic and i got connections with parts at the subaru dealer so ill be fine with the maintanence. subaru are easy to work on esp cause the engine sits in a rwd configuration unlike the evo lol.

i did my buddies wrx's timing belt and clutch it was cake easiest timing belt i ever did. tranny was easy to take out just had a little trouble with the rusted dowel pins.

Thank god they liberated that engine from such a horribly disgustingly god awful ugly looking SUV.

Seriously? Still? Do you know anything about hondas? Your irrational opinion on hondas needs to stop here. You can't even drive yet, you don't know anything about honda's, how they feel, how they drive, OR EVEN HOW FWD FEELS COMPARED TO RWD. So please, shut up. Stop hating something simply because everyone else does.
