also 8psi is rather conservative do you plan on going higher, and if so how much would you think the engine could handle?

not bad. sounds "safe". I would probably put down similar numbers too. How much timing are you running, and what plugs? never mind bkr7e.

what motor/ecu are you using these days? I know some s14 ecu's are very "active" and tend to pull timing/add fuel when you least want them to, I've had my car just feel like it falls on it's face some days and feel great the next and I'm attributing it to this. new front o2 will sometimes help. Is it also possible you have a vac/boost leak somewhere? I know even the smallest most inaudible leak can rob major power from you. compression is okay i would hope? remember i only put down 180hp/210tq with my t25 at 8lbs, no clue what it puts down at 5lbs on the t4 setup.

i got this coming, they did 75 mph pulls with it outside of the car... however no left and right motions, so this will be only for inside use. hopefully it will be here by this weekend.

You firing the ma-deuce was awesome and the sunrise on the highway was very cool as well. Glad you made it back safe and sound. And thank you for serving.
