i love 300zx's what year did you have

nice my first car was a 1988 Firebird GTA with the 350 in it it was pretty fast but gas was um..... yea.

 

i had a 1984 300zx 2+2 and i sold it to get a 240

 

find out the thread pitch of the shifter and get a nut to put under the shifter to lock it?

 

well bad news...for me....yesterday i lost control on some loose gravel and hit a tree all the damage i can see is i need a new tie rod and a new fender...it was in a neighborhood to (damn construction) i ended up in someones yard there tree was just scuffde and had some rutts in his yard but he was cool about it he didnt even call the cops some nosy *** neighbor did so im going to fill in the rutts for him and i got two tickets for not having plates or insurance because i got the car over the weekend...this is the first accident ive ever been in ..hopefully the last... ill post pics later

its all good it should be an easy fix, just a tie rod end and a fender
