if i was gonna swap a v8 into anything, itd be a FC RX7. the frame in the 240 is not strong enough to really hold that kind of power for a decent amount of time. the RX7 holds an LS1/LT1/SBC motor extremely well, with at least 2 kits that i know of. also, LS1s do not come in caprices, an LT1 one did. LS1s are 350 horse (at the crank if im not mistaken) some day id like to build an LS1 FD RX7... oh and btw, if you did swap a LS1 into a 240, you could get some damn good gas mileage, a guy did one into a FD, put down like 400+ hp, and gets about 28 mpg. (all smog crap is gone though, so yeah, its not legal in some parts of the country)

I dont know...Im just throwing out ideas. Im not looking for a lot of power....Well I am but I would probably leave the Ls1 stock.
