Question Tanabe Coilovers

I can't decide which coilovers to get. I am looking for a comfortable ride since I will be using my car for daily driving.

Tanabe Pro S-OC Coilovers (These have helper springs) $945
or
Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC II Coilovers $765

Is it worth the extra 180 for the ones with helper springs? Will it make a huge difference?

Thanks

it dosent say what the spring rates are...and yes helper springs will make your ride better, but IMO i dont think they are worth the extra cash.

if you want ride comfort stick with stock or a very mild shock/spring combo (such as tein s-tech/tokiko illuminas) because any decent set of coilovers are considerably bumpier than stock, although i personally dont mind. but again my car is fully gutted so obviously comfort takes a back seat to performance in my case.

i would get some megan racing streets or KTS SC dampers (www.splparts.com)
both, reputable coilovers and if they are too stiff for you just buy new springs with a softer spring rate. (i believe swift winds custom springs)

I was previously considering the megan racing coilovers since they are similiar to the apexi ones.. yes I read the huge thread on it.

Eventually I will put a body kit on my car and therefore thats the reason I need the coilovers so I can lower it.

Thank you. I will look into those other coilovers you mentioned.
