so i want to know what you guys think of this new fic???? i went to go talk to a shop near me about tuning my car i am just running a afc II, he told me about this new aem fic. it controls timing and eliminates the MAF! he told me $425 for the unit. so is it worth it and better yet will it work good.

yeah thats why i would like to here what people have to say about it cause it sounds really good and its not that expensive. cause my car is obd II so when it comes to tuning and passing inspection it is..........a pain in the a$$ to say the least.

 

thats not so cheap if the 240 ever gets the pug and play harness it will probably raise the price to $500+ and you can get a Apexi Power FC with FC commander (a stand alone) for around $600 and it just plugs in

 

oh and i also hate piggy backs

Where are you able to get a Power FC w/ FC Commander for that cheap??? Cheapest price I was ever given for one was almost 800.

AEM is crap if it only works for OBD2, it just makes it backwards programming. I don't have a problem with it being a MAP sensor ECU, removing the MAF, but other than that it's garbage.

 

OK, Im still at a loss for what they mean by D-Jetro, L-Jetro, etc... what do they mean and what is its function??? It was explained to me briefly, but that was over 2 years ago LOL

Which one is more advantageous for say a KA-T pushing 250 at the wheels? Yes, I know, 250 aint shiet. I just want to build something mild for the streets. The big hp car will come later, way later.
