Car Keys
 

Does each car have it's own key length? I'd like to get some nissan keys (mine now look like my house key) There's a set of blanks on ebay for a 300zx, will these keys work for my car?

I was under the impression that all keys were the same length, just wanted to check.

there are short keys and longer keys, I believe the 240 has the short key, I believe the 300zx uses the same length key

i broke my nissan key and really wanted a new one but instead i just got a replacement at walmart. i kno a guy with a 300zx key for his 240, but he said it only opens some doors, so you might wanna rethink that. just go to walmart and get a new key cut, they have blanks there that look just like the nissan key. the key code is 37R

^yea, i'd get the blank for a 300 and get it cut, I just wanted the nissan logo on it, and they're like $7

eh yea i was gonna do that too, but heck the key only cost me like 1.50 total :P and it looks just like the nissan. hope that the 300zx key works all around for you unlike the guy i kno :D
