crimestopper cs-2011rs alarm

I'm about to begin installation of a crimestopper cs-2011rs series 2 alarm with keyless entry and remote start in my 5-spd. '91 240sx hatch w/ power everything, and i was wondering if there was some things i need to know to help with the installation.

Thanks

have you done an alarm before? You'll need a complete wiring guide to make sure you do the right wires, a voltmeter to check polatiry and do relays, should be no diferent than any other alarm install.

If you plan to use the remote start, just remember not to keep your car in gear when you park it once you have the alarm installed. ;p

there is one thing you will need to make the door locks work... nissan used what is a courtesy door locks in most of the nissans... meaning they only work when you use the key to lock or unlock the door... to get actual power door locks you will need a door lock actuator... it will lock the drivers side door from the alarm and in turn that will lock the passenger side as well...

if you have never done an alarm i would suggest you have someone help you who knows how to do them... do not use the twist and tape method to attach the wores and make sure you fuse everything...

i tried to pm you, but it says that your message box was full so. . .

i don't need an alarm install since i no longer have the alarm in my possession, and my stereo problem was solved. so, if you ever plan on parting with the wheels, i'll just take them whenever you are ready. do you have any idea of a timeframe? anyway, as i said to you before, i'm not in a hurry, and my project car isn't ready to drive at the moment anyway, so i have plently of time.

thanks,
isaiah
