Door speakers

Do I have to remove the door panel to change the door speakers? or just the grill part?

go look in the audio/video/security forum for an answer to that.

moved to the "Audio" section...I just replaced my front speakers, but I also replaced my panels so they came off anyways....takes like 2 mins to take off the panel

remove the panel... the speaker grill is mounted to the door skin and if you remove it by force it will break... the panel comes off easy enough so take the time to remove it and not break things... besides it is easier to get at the speaker with the panel off... and if you have the active speaker system now is a good time to remove the factory amp as well... all this is done with the door panel off the car...

why should I take out the factory amp? Its no good? ima leave the stock radio. Im putting so awia speakers I had laying around. Should I still take the amp out?

if you are leaving the factory radio in then yeah... just hook the speaker up in place of the other... i guess i should have asked if you were keeping the factory radio as well...
