Infinity Bass link?
 

Has anyone heard anything good about the infinity bass link sub woofer? I don't want to go all out for a system... just want to see if the infinity is a quality unit. thanks for the help!:werd:

I've installed one in my S14 and love it. It isn't very loud outside the vehicle, but in the cabin there is plenty of bass. If you aren't looking for something to rock the neighborhood but sounds great in the car...this is perfect! Plus, you can get the remote bass knob for easy bass adjustment, works great on the console.

Check out some of my pics at the link below and you can see the basslink and the remote knob mounted in the center console next to the power mirror switches.

Circuit City had them on sale a few weeks ago for about $269; I don't think that included the remote. I bought mine off ebay for ~$220. That was my total after shipping and with the remote - new.

It's certainly a quality 10" subwoofer.

I USED TO WORK AT A CAR STEREO SHOP IN NY. THE BASS LINK WAS RATED ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST SELF AMPLIFIED SUB WOOFER ENCLOSURES. WHAT IT HAS IS ONE TEN INCH WOOFER ON ONE SIDE WICH IS A GOOD QUALITY SUB BUT, BEHIND THE SUB IS A SUB RADIATOR WICH MAKES IT SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE 2 TENS AS OPPOSED TO ONE. ITS SHAPE MAKES IT FIT PRETTY MUCH ANYWHERE SAVING YOU A HELL OF TRUNK SPACE. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, I THINK ITS AMP PUMPS OUT 200 WATTS AND LIKE SAID IN THE REPLY ABOVE, IT DOES HAVE THE BASS KNOB REMOTE OPTION.

For the money and space savings ,yeah, they are great sq subs. I plan on getting one for my wife for her xmas present.

THE BOX IS SQUARE BUT THE SUB IS A ROUND 10" AS WELL AS THE RADIATOR
