laptop mp3 player

well, my 93 only has a tape deck for music, because even if i wanted radio, the anntenna is snapped off, and imgoing to sand off the antenna mount thing. but i'm thinking, if i can get a cheap laptop, even like a 133 or something, it would be better than a cd deck, because i can use it for mp3's and it can hold lots of music. what do u guys think of this idea? oh yeah,im going to run the laptop to speaker boxes or something.

That would be a pretty good idea...but you gatta worry about battery life. So get a car adapter for the laptop and be set. Just get the laptop connected to the speakers some how and ur set.

the best way to hook it up is to have an stereo audio input on your head unit like on my sony cd player, but most people don't have this, but there is some plug in/modulator you can plug in to make it work.

Just make sure the HD is big enough for you and that there is enough memory.

yeah i wouldnt want like a 300 meg hd or somethin, but most laptops, even old ones have like at least a gig or 2 of hd space, so even after putting the os on, i should have room for plenty of mp3s
