I have purchased:
Nakamichi MB-75 6-disk indash CD player
MB quart Reference 216 6.5" component speaker set for front
MB quart DKD 4x6 coax's for the back

This is going in my 92 asap. Think it'll sound good? opinions?

I think it will sound very good(sq wise)
Are you going to get an amp for the speakers? If so, I would only amp the front speakers(JMO though)

Yeah i have a Pioneer 50*4 installed. I was supposed to install an mtx 650 watts amp and a 12 inch jl audio sub, but the guy selling me the stuff *****ed out. Now im still using stock speakers. Im probably gonna upgrade the speakers soon, cause they cant handle my head unit.

wiring also plays a huge role......i like to use monster cables for my stereo equipment ;)

Do you really think that brands make a difference?

Nope!

As I recently learned you need twisted wire and you're good to go.

Monster cable is just a name.... That's all.

Probably not gonna run an amp on them at first. Unless I hear it and think they need more. The Nak has 40Wx 4 so probably about 15-20w RMS.. should be enough to sound good.

Just need to take those stupid factory amps out.. talk about SUCK

yeah if anything, amp the fronts, but if u can afford it, get a 4 channel, get decent RCAs and u'll be set

Usaully, the wire does make a difference....

You thicker the wire (more strands), the more power and sound can travel. Both of them utilize the surface area of the wire. That why you don't see straight copper wiring...

Just my 2 cents

wires

i've heard many different things about wires...in my personal opinion i dont see how brand name can mean a difference, thinkness i understand (thicker the better)
