i need help with a cd player im installing on my 93' 240..i hooked up all the wires correctly but when i turn it on it works for about a second or two,then it turns off. It does that everytime i have the key in the ignition.. I checked the fuses and they are ok. does anyone know what the problem could be??

 

what kind of stereo is it? you may have hooked up the wires wrong. if the radio powers on it cant be any fuses because there it power being supplied to the radio. its either the wiring of maybe the radio is defective itself

 

it could be the fuses...i remember it was one of the number 10 fuses in the box right under the steerwheel next to the clutch

it was blown and my headunit worked then would just shut off out of no where and then come back on

check your fuses down there
