Pioneer Headunit

Hey, I'm kinda new to stereo systems and such. Here's the deal. I bought my car and it had a Kenwood headunit. The old owner said it sounded pretty sweet. Well, the day I pick up the car he doesn't have the headunit in cause he left it at his house like 30 miles away from where the car was. He says he'll give it to me when I return his club. So I go down to his hosue expecting to get the headunit, but he can't find it. I call him 3 weeks later and he says he still can't find it. Well, I'm thinking screw it, Ill just get a new headunit. My question is if any Kenwood headunit would fit the CD player or should I just get a new CD player from ALpine or something?

Sup man, I returned your PM

But to answer your question, no not any faceplate will work. Faceplates cost almost as much as the unit if you buy one through kenwood (or any manufacturer for that matter). Buy a new one.

Come see me at work and we'll work something out.

And if u buy the whole thing over make sure u get one bout the same size as the one have in there other wise u will have to buy a new faceplate to go around where u have the cd player in. Plus the wireing harness and simple things...I would get the guy who lost his to pitchin for your new one since he lost the other
