hey i have a facotry clarion amp in my s14. i was wondering if any1 knows wut the max watts it puts out? i am curious cuz i got after market speakers and i wanna know if u should run them form my head unit or my amp. the head unit says 50*4 watts. i dunno wut the rms is. some1 plz help

 

i have my aftermarket kenwood speaker all around running from the stock clarion amp sounds good!! not sure on the wattage tho

I think it is either a 25w or 50w 4 channel amp. Your speakers can handle it becuase most after market speakers handle between 180 and 220 watts. I have an alpine thats 60w per channel with polk and infinity speakers and it all sounds fine. However, each step up on your volume will make a drastic difference.
