stock stereo question
 

in a 92/93 240, how many speakers does the car have? I dont have mine yet, thats y I dont just go out into the driveway and look myself :)

and they are ALL 4x6's quite ****ty quality if I do say so myself

hold on there, the coupes have 4x6's up front, but 6.5's in the back.

i thought they had 6, tweets in the front...:confused: oh well i tried

i think we can say all STOCK speakers are ****ty quality PERIOD, thats if u are into audio and have an ear for things

My alty came with 2 clarion 5-7's and 2 6's. They sound alright but the bass travels over the sound.(2*12 m/b quartz)600 watt p/g amp.)

Clarion has a contract with nissan to make OEM equipment. but my 99 came with Onkyos...???

mine came with clarions also

PN you and your damned auto response. Ohh yea mine had clarions also, along with a 6 disc changer

the 97 also has 4. My rear ones are blowing out though. I need to get new ones, what would guy recommend i get. I dont like subs so im looking for speakers that have good treble and decent bass.

Throw some quality three-way's in there and you'll be fine.

I have a 95 and I would recommend Infinity's all around. They are $100 a pair at Circuit and so far they are the best buy in my opinion. Bass is excellent and treble is not that bad, its worth it if you don't want to go all out with your $$$$
