So i ordered a pair of Pioneer tweeters 250 watts. I was curious if anyone has tried to install then on the sail panel of their door. (Triangle shape plate by the side mirrors of the car) I was thinking if you installed them there, how would you wire it? I here some other cars had no problems doing this but what about 240's? Thanks in advance!

p.s. My knowledge of speakers is kept to a minimum so bare with me

 

the wiring would be easy since you already have a speaker in the door... you could put the tweets there if that is where you want them... they would have to be mounted on the top since there is no room to mount them flush with the sail panel...

 

you could mount tweeters there then use a filter to run off the main door speakers... but if you plan on having dedicated amplification you're going to have to run another pair of speaker wires just for them.
