ever think about mounting it in the dash? or how about the glove box? think of that?

this might be out of the blue... what about in the back seats... do some modding there... figure something out where u can open the seat and have your console there..

they fit well in the passenger side airbag spot

not sure how good of a warranty ur gonna have left on a 1993. anyways, im pretty sure that taking out that airbag is illegal if ur car came with it and ur going to be on the road :/

Well my 1993 doesn't have power windows, so air bags are definitely out of the question. But I have some Dash mods to be done when I do some performance enhancements to an engine. THe back seat idea can be done if it was PS1, but because it has to slide out, its no good.
Thanks for the ideas, some I haven't thought about, any more? |
I have seen people gut the bottoms of the dash in the passenger side and mount their PS2 in there. You can make a cover and no one would be the wiser.

The big dash space will be used for othe gizmos and gadgets, but I think that might be the route that will have to be taken eventually.

What are you doing with your seats? You could always mount it inside on of your seat backs if you go with a racing bucket. I know there are some who have solid backs.

Seat Backs?
What do we mean? Just attach it to the back of the seat. I would consider that if I ran out of options and not a bad idea, but I need to have it in a more aestic place. |
is there enough space under the seat ?? just a toss up... might fit... have it screwed down or something....
|
Space under the seat is sparce. The install I am talking about is molding it into a fiberglass back of a bucket sport seat.
