Wiring a pioneer cd deck???
 

my friend has a new pioneer cd deck, how would I go about installing it?? It came with a wiring harness, do i have to splice the wires and then do like color to color on the wires??

go on there site and they have wiring diagrams on there, but yeah u will have to splice them together with some conectors or u can solder them.............thatw what i did.....................but jsut go to the site and print it off, then u gotta find a copy of the wiring diagram for the car

if its a 240 i can scan the wiring diagram i have and send it to ya

With my pioneer deck all I had to do was the color to color thing, I also had to buy an adapter for the power wire

i just did the color to color pluged it in and boom it worked... i don't know why a wiring diagram is needed but what ever floats your boat

wiring diagrams are good so that you don't turn on your radio and get the other "boom". :D

I did it finally it took me 20 minutes, and I didnt use a wiring diagrahm btw.
