From what I heard, the axel broke on the guy, sending him to the left... problem was, he never lifted off and couldnt brake on time.

EDIT: Poor little tink tink...

That's absolutely wrong . . .Dave Jones, Vaughn Gittin, Doug Van Den Brink and myself all clutch kick, no axles break. I'm still 320ft lbs, but I know Doug and Vaughn are over 600ft lbs . . .sooo yeah . . .that's no rule.

Well that's mostly because of your insignificance within the interwebz, LOL!

Nah seriously though, that truck drifting has been circulating as a "popular" video since I was in Japan . . .and the Mustang fail video has been around since . . .well . . .lets just say I was no where near owning a Mustang when I first saw it . . .Circa 2004-ish.

I realize the drifting vids are probably older (well, not the Ebisu school one, that's a private video) but the others probably are, but are certainly less popular.

HAHA, the last event I was at was actually set up better than that. First turn, approach at 80 then Choku Dori till you slow down to 60 to make the turn. This was a 3rd gear drift to the left, then downshift to 2nd to make the transition to the right then to the left to the right and back to the left and into the stop box.
