Learn how to drift with no stick or sr20!
 

:devil: Drftr d here with some good and bad news. Went to go do video of drifting and had accident on third turn. First two I got sideways and on the third hit a stream of water so therefore I couldn't grip after correction and hit a curb going about 40. My whole driver side front suspension is screwed and I'm paying $650 bucks to get it fixed.:( On a higher note I just met a guy who works for Traxion, the people who do the Traxion show, and he owns a shop in downtown Dallas. It's called DtMotorwerks and the general manager is David Nam. He doesn't do nissan work but two of his employes and friends have 240's and say you don't need a sr20 or stick to drift up a storm. I knew you didn't need a sr20 but was wondering why you don't need a manual. He says his friend is just about the best drifter in Texas and doesn't even want a manual. After my car gets out of the shop he invited me to come to his shop and his friend is going to give me drift lessons on automatic.:D He told me to enter in drift events all through texas and schools and invited me to the show. I might be signing up for the actuall drift event and will be riding with the pros. He said for sure monkey man is coming and isn't sure on Signal yet. Awesome/crappy. Sucks about the car, but cool to meet the guy that works for traxion.

yea sucks that the poor 240 got tore up but thats a definate + to meet new people

yeah i know the guy who drifts the automatic s13 coupe with cut springs... he's awesome man, first time i watched and was told it was an auto i was like wtf? but he definitly can do it... shows all you need is some confidence, and practice.

Ronnies springs aren't cut, he has some cusco coilovers.

David Nam isn't the general manager. He owns DTM. He has that gray IS300 and purple widebody M3 that just sits in his showroom.

As for Traxion, the guy you met was probably Wayne. He's the one marketing Traxion along w/RJ Garcia.

i have an auto s13 thats stock with no lsd and i can drift. its really not that hard just gotta time the down shift right and know how to drive your car.
