What about Trust or Quaife helical diff's as far as now there is no rebuilt on that type plus you get a smooth transition to over steer (I don't I dont know how this would work in a drift car, maybe like a 1.5 way) and I know Quaife warrantys alot of there stuff on track or not

The Quaife helical LSD's are usually more geared towards grip driving, IMO I'd go for a 2way for drift...Quaife is an excellent company though with an excellent product.

honestly i dont really get the point of a 2 way. its basically a welded, but you pay 800 bucks for them and you have to overhaul. why not just get a welded in the first place, much cheaper with no overhaul.

The 2-way only acts as a 2-way when force is applied, otherwise it will act as an open differential. It makes my car sound funny because it clunks around turns, but I like it. Turning in parking lots with a welded diff is no fun, so I hear.

I hate welded diffs they shouldn't even be used for auto sports. They suck on autoX and disturb the turning radius. For street driving it makes the tires go bald sooner. It also makes the rear of the chassis shake and bounce as it turns, it also causes serious understeer issues on s13's. 2way in my opinion is more mechanically stable, it works when the torque and pressure of grip is applied it isn't always a fully locking mechanism, like welded diffs are.
