just bought a 1990 240sx hatch/fastback manual. i was driving it home and driving around for a few days and it seemed really well. the other day, i was backing out of the garage, so i started up the car then hit it to reverse, then i started to balance the gas and clutch to get out of the garage, but then it grinded hard then stalled....i had to "pump" the clutch because the pedal did not go back up when i released it...so then after being able to get out, i drove normally again. sometimes though, at stop lights or something, i wouldn't be able to hit it back to 1st, like it was really hard to push it in, i had to pump the clutch again. i thought it was a gear oil problem but after i got a tranny flush in the front and rear, i still have the problem, it also happens when i try to downshift sometimes. and last, when i downshift with the 1st and 2nd gears, there is a loud noise, but the guy that sold me the car said it's just a broken heat shield or something like that and that i wouldn't have to worry about it. any input would be great guys, thanks a lot
