I just bought a 240sx xe. XE, if I am correct, has no lsd. Now, I can buy a used s13 vlsd off ebay or something, and my car will already have the port for it to bolt up right. I did a search, and I found the installation instruction for it and everything, so I don't need help for that. I just want to know if all I need is the lsd unit, or if I need anything else before I jump right into this with my limited funding. I did a search, but if oyu think I didn't search well enough flame away, I know I'm a noob, lol.

I just want to put in the lsd that come on the se model. viscous right? I can get one for like $120 on ebay, and it should be a direct bolt on with no modification. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hyjynx: I mean just the usdm viscous lsd. I thought the jdm lsd was the same as usdm?

If it is from a USDM S13 then it would fit with no mods needed.

Sorry man, they did not come in the se only in the LE which are hard as sh*& to find. I know my dif is open.

They didn't come on the le I htought. I thought they only came in the sport packagte on the se model, along with hycas, and abs. I am just going to buy a stock lsd, that's all I need, and if it goes in wo=ithout modding, good. Thank you all.
