how do i adjust my clutch freeeplay.. or sumthing like that.. cuz i try to put into reverse but i can hear gearz grind even thought im stepping on the clutch pedal as far down as it can go... and also i can seen to find the tranny oil dip stick?? stupid i know but i cam.. itz my first 240 so i fdont know nada.. thankz for the help..

move ur seat back an look under the dash, behing the pedal there is a bolt/skrew or whatever u wana call it an if thats to tight it can hold ur cluth in an if its to lose u wont be able to push it in all the way. an im not shure about where the ka dipp stick is cuz i have an rb... i think its up near the front tawrds the headlights but idk

No dipstick for gear oil on manual 240sx's. You have to go under the car and remove the fill bolt on the side of the tranny, stick your finger in and the oil should be almost to the hole but not enough that it comes out.

Is public edumacation really this bad?

There is no dipstick on the manual transmission as mentioned above. There is a bold in the pedal linkage of the clutch to adjust pedal freeplay. Check the FSM (factory service manual) in the CL section. There are multiple sites online to get a free FSM.

hey guys haven't post in awhile... i just bought another 240sx and it grinds like crazy when i put into to first sometimes but other times its normal. It has a act clutch and i think maybe the bolts are loss? it also grinds when i go from first to second sometimes. sorry that i went off topic
