auto tranny a problem when it comes time to swap?
 

Hey i am looking at gettign a 240 and the one i was interested in is automatic. I will be doing the SR20DET Swap. my question is will i be able to do the SR swap that has a manual tranny in a origanlly auto body? will it all bolt up correctly? what all would i need to do, and would it just be easier to get a stick 240? oh and another quick question do the SR motor's all come with 5-speed's? or is that somethign to ask the place where i woudl be ordering the motor? any help will be great thanks!:)

You will have to do a manual conversion, but that isn't to difficult. Then transfer over all the parts, blah blah blah and your set.

not all sr's are 5speed they do come in an auto.
