clutch adjustment.......

So if my clutch is slipping and I want to try to adjust it to grab a little better, which way would I want to turn the clutch rod? In or out? :dunno:

you would turn it so that the overall length of the rod that goes between the slave clyinder and pedal gets longer - not sure which way that is.
