I need a new clutch for my car. My clutch is not grabbing good when shifting fast. What kind of clutch is best for the money and how easy is it to install myself?

Ok. More specific question. My clutch wont grab when I shift quickly like trying to drag race or clutch kick around a courner to slide the rear. RPMs will continue to rasie but I will have no power to the rear wheels. Do I need a new clutch or is there anything else i can do about it ?

sounds like ur clutch is slipping. that happens when it gets old. Drifting does that to the clutch.

Search for clutches and read up. I suggest a good stage2 clutch, and change the clutch pivot while ur down in there. I just broke my clutch pivot.

The symptoms definitely indicate a burned or worn clutch. If you car is mildly modified then you should upgrade like suggested above. If your car is basically stock, maybe the clutch is just old. Then again it's probably your driving technique. OEM spec clutches aren't designed to handle clutch kicks.
