diff problem
So we finished installing my lsd today, and it runs smooth with no problems...Well, almost no problems. When my friend was pulling the car into the driveway, a wheel came off the ground, and all power was immediately transfered to that wheel as if it were still the stock open diff. Being that it takes a couple hours to swap the diffs and I literally have no time this week, what should I do about this? I'm not sure exactly why it would act up this way?

Did you put the right fluid in it? Jack it up and see if both wheels turn. Or do a burnout. Could have been a fluke?
|
We drained it then put some 75-90, I believe, in it. I was wondering if it would work again today and got stuck over the sidewalk again, now theres more rubber on the sidewalk. I don't think it could be a fluke, I got it from venus auto who i have heard nothing from good from and everyone I know thats into cars loves them =/

What type of lsd did you get? Was it a used one? If it was new what kind was it and did you follow the break in proceedure?
|
It was used from an R32. The guy that helped me out with it has done a couple of these and this is the first time he's ever ran into any problems like this. I have the number on it if it helps at all, but I couldn't find anything on it through yahoo or google - A5-920727B

vlsd's really arent anything special. you can still get stuck on driveways and sometimes they act like an open in the dry. thats why i got rid of my vlsd and went welded.

yeah it started raining today so i moved the car inside since wiper motor went out and it caught perfect...ah well
