Drive Shaft bolts Rubbin On end of Tranny
 
I am hookin up my drive shaft into my transmission tonite ( blacktop sr20 Into 240sx) and got it all bolted up and relized the end of the bolts are right up against the rubber on the end of the transmission where the driveshat goes into the tranny.. What do you think ? why is it like that ?:werd:

are you using a ka drive shaft or an sr? not sure if theres a difference..

You need to take the rubber collar off the end of the tranny

er the drive shafts are the same for both motors but i never had a problem mine didnt rub hmm...

you mean the oil seal? that's the only rubber part i remember being on there.

the s14 trans has one on there. not sure if that does it. but thats what rubbed on mine. it caught on fire, shift boot caught on fire. and a bunch of wires. and so on...
