five lug LSD to 4 lug conversion?

I got a hold of a five lug LSD for a good price but it's the Silvia 5 lug one. Anyone know any pages that have pictures and parts requirements for the conversion.

I assume you're talking about the 5 hole output shafts... If yes, then you need to swap them with US 6 hole output shafts.

I don't think USDM output shafts will fit in a vlsd. There are different parts numbers and lengths for them.

I have a JDM VLSD and I think your best bet would be to get the axle for the JDM VLSD and make it a full package. There would be less labor this way as well.

You can also sell it as a package deal when you are ready to move onto a LSD.

Most of the time JDM VLSDs are sold for good prices when they have no axles is because the axles and output shafts are hard to come by.

USDM VLSD output shafts would work.

The J30s and the 300zs would be the right length?

a usdm vlsd output shafts may work . but the open diff ones will not. i have a 5 bolt diff and it's not a vlsd it's a clutch type. i just got some 5 bolt axles.i tried the s14 vlsd shafts and they were different aswell. if you do just get the 5 bolt axles get the bolts and nutz for them cause they are thicker than the normal ones.
