If i change the clutch master ...

will i have to bleed the line?

Bryan 03-01-2007 01:24 PM

Yes, you will.

jramosthe1st! 03-01-2007 04:50 PM

yes, plus it's a good idea to bleed all the lines and get some fresh fluid in them while your at it.

amarSX 03-01-2007 05:17 PM

okay thanks alot.swiched the master.
now i jsut gota wait for a second hand
someone to pump clutch and ill bleed the lines.

amarSX 03-01-2007 05:29 PM

will brake fluid be okay to use?

acfalconhawk 03-01-2007 05:50 PM

yeah, that works.

Bryan 03-01-2007 07:27 PM

Also, if you still have the clutch damper installed, be sure you bleed at the slave and the damper to get all the air out. You may want to look into removing the damper all together as well, that is up to you though.

amarSX 03-02-2007 07:11 PM

i bled everything. took air out.
but my clutch still feels soggy.

why? :(

re037 03-02-2007 10:11 PM

prob still the damper. i had so much trouble with it too, i ended up removing the damper.

RuizXIII 03-03-2007 11:35 AM

yeah i suggest removing the dampner box as well, its pretty ghey and pointless. No one ever keeps it and its just a pain in the rear end usually.

amarSX 03-03-2007 07:03 PM

how to remove the damper box.?

Bumnah 03-23-2007 10:40 PM

unbolt the hard line coming from the master cylinder unbolt the line that goes fro mthe dampner box to the slave cylinder. now all lines running to and from the dampner box should be out. unbolt the dampner box from the body (box and long tube that runs back into the dampner box should of been removed.
next cautiously and slow bend the line coming from the master cylinder toward the line near the slave cylinder (rubber hose that is connected to the slave cylinder. should be pretty clear. once bent. bolt it back up, and bleed the air out at the slave cylinder. should be good to go.
