For under $200 I've heard/read a lot about Exedy in this forum :thumb:

Exedy is a better than stock but by no means a performance clutch. I recently purchased it for my 5 speed swap. It's not meant for racing. If you buddy races and runs nos, he'll have to not be cheap if he wants to race it. If not, then get the exedy or stock replacement and take it easy until he does the swap.
75 shot of NOS on a 2.4, amazing his engine is still alive. Buddy in KC ran a 50 shot and has gone through 2 engines in 3 years.

Support to Handle the power increase! He is wanting to do an RB30DE swap!
my friend runs a 100shot daily on a 95 240 KA, w/no problems!

well with the swap, wouldn't that mean a different tranny anyways?

Yes! But he will not be able to do his swap for a while, like a year or so, so he wants to run NOS until then...

I doubt he'll find a clutch under $200 (without hookups) that will hold that 75shot for long.
