manual tranny replace

My 2'nd and 4'th gears slip into neutral while i'm driving. I just bought a new clutch so my mechanic said it's somrthing with the synchroes in my tranny. Anyone know where I can buy a manual tranny for a 91 240 hatch besides a junkyard. I want to make sure the tranny I buy is in good condition. I don't know if it matters, but I have the hicas version with vlsd.
thanks

Is ur transmission popping out or coming out of gear? is that wat u mean? I can shift my tranny from 1st to neutral 2nd to neutral 3rd and so w/o hitting the clutch but u gotta be careful do it only at low speed(revs) ,some transmission were designed to do that ,to avoid clutch wearness,at least thats what I heard and I understand.

no, sometimes it will just pop out of gear for no reason. It feels like it doesn't grip those gears like it did before the shop removed my tranny to put in the new clutch. Do u think the shop messed with the linkage re-installing my tranny?

No the tranny linkage would not cause the car to come out of gear but I know there is definetely a problem in the Tranny now ,like the Synchros or something.
