Manual Transmission Servo, plzzz
 

Hey, im searching as i type this but im not finding anything. I have an 89 s13 and under the radio is a little box called "manual transmission servo". It says it on there. ever since i got the car there was a weird switch connected to some of those wires. the switch says "speed control" on it. It has a little push botton and says on, off, res on the side.

I have never seen this on any other s13. I would like to kno:
1) if someone has the same thing and knows what it is?

2) If not where do the wires from the servo go, normally.

3) what happens if i take it out?

It looks just like an ecu, with one wide white plug. Its directly under the radio. has one little light in the top and says 4cyl., 6cyl, 8cyl.
right in front of the shifter. Ill try to get some pics of it but i dont think i will be able to.

Speed limiter cut off thingy:dunno:Maybe you can turn it off and on
