My vlsd swap
Finished my vlsd swap today.I took it out of a 94 s14 se and put it in my 93 s13. The swap went really good.
I hade to swap the rear end covers. I had to grap the 2 bolts that went to the front mounts, you really do need these bolts the s13 are way to short. The s14 rear end was about 1/2 inch or so longer, but the drive shaft went in with no binding so it will be fine. Results where night and day. I have to really rev it now to get the rear wheels to let go, and now I leave two black stripes instead of one:D The real test will be at the next hillclimb. It will be on the 12th. On my test run today I think it's ready for more power. :bigok: |
i know what your talking about, mines made a huge difference on corners and such when i put in my J30 diff into my S14. and the best part is, I picked it up for $60 from a junkyard
