would a tranny from a ka24e motor bolt up to my 92 240sx ka24de motor?

 

99% sure it does

 

are you sure cuz a junkyard told me that the ka24e tranny will not bolt up to a ka24de motor

 

From what I have been told from people that have done it, it fits perfectly. The SOHC trans has one less connection then the DOHC, but still works fine.

Hopefully someone can back me up on this

 

I have them sitting right next to eachother and the bolt pattern is the same, and the dowels match up when you stick them on the engine.
by the way, I have 3 of those things, I have a KA24E and 2DEs how much you want to pay and when can you get one out of my shop, they need to move.

 

how much would you sell me one for and how many miles on it?

 

Yeah same here i need a new tranny. Give me a good price for a 5 speed my automatic is starting to take a **** on me.

 

sohc and dohc KA motors have same tranny

i just did the KA(sohc) tranny internals swap into my SR housings

swapped right in without modifications

 

Are the gear ratios even the same?

 

i think the ka24e tranmission shold bolt right on to a ka24de becuase these both have the same block.oh and i have a tranny. From my 92 240SX Coupe. First $80 or watever takes it.
