New clutch question.....

New clutch question.....

I have a 96 240 and one night when I was "asleep" at a friends house, another friend decides to take my car and when I wake up in the morning I have no clutch.

I got the clutch from schucks and got the flywheel resurfaced at napa, and all said and done, the clutch works now... BUT it has no feel to it anymore. I bled it after installing it, it doesn't slip, it just feels like s***.

My question(s) are, does the pressure plate vary that much from stock that it would be that much easier to push?....Is there anything I can do to get the pedal feel stiffer besides a different clutch or removing the damper?

Thanks for reading, and in case theres already a thread answering my question sorry, but I couldnt find it so

removing the dampener helps, and a higher stage clutch would make for a stiffer feel.

just adjust it.. you're new clutch is going to be different than your old clutch, so the pedal feeling soft is that it's acually not disengaging all the way... you need to adjust the push rod on the master cylinder so that as soon as you start to press down the petal it starts to go in..
