No Pedal Pressure
 

i have tried searching the site for answers but i could not find any

When i push my clutsh pedal down to bleed the system it shoots right to the floor and i have to pull it back up. I thought if i kept doing it some pressure would build up and i would push the pedal all the way down and then let the air out of the slave cyclinder but no pressure ever builds up. If i leave the bleeder on the slave cyclinder open fluid will travel through the lines but when i close it back up still no pedal pressure. And i already took the damper thing out too. So can someone give me some ideas of what the problem is please.

Is there any way to check to make sure it is the master cycinder?

Okay, first when you push your clutch pedal in and it get stuck to the floor look at your slave cylinder nipple and see if it is sticking out or not. If it is sticking out then its your clutch pressure plate. If it is not sticking out then its the hydrolic system, keep bleeding your clutch, its suppose to fall to the floor. Hope this helps

wait wait, your clutch? Your clutch isn't supposed to come back up when you bleed it, only the brakes do that. I dunno how to explain it, but it just doesnt. I've asked around about this when I bled my s2k's clutch, it's normal. Just bring it back up from the other side with your foot and keep bleeding, just finish bleeding your system, add brake fluid and it will be tits.

so the clutch pedal is fine, i just have to bleed it for a long time?

Yeah, continue to bleed it, use your foot to bring it back up after every push. Make sure its all out so when you fill it back up there won't be any bubbles. It should be candy when you finish.

Have somebody else to help you too. Have them tighten the bolt before you build pressure, then pump up the pedal and have them release it. That way they can see the air bubbles coming out.

it was the clutch master cylinder the hole time put a new one in and have been driving it for a week now no problems
