R180 confusion...
 

Okay so got the the greatest gift of all from my girlfriend on Christmas which was a nismo 2way lsd. I opened it up and checked it out. Its all there except one thing caught my eye. Its for a r180 housing. I know 240sx's come with a r200 type housing but was wondering if anyone knows if this lsd will fit into the r200 housing?
I did a little research and found out that the r180's are actually from old school 260-280zx's and some other cars. I actually joined their forum trying to ask the same question. Im still waiting for the activation email. Oh wells. Anyways if anyone knows please let me know cause im stummped. Anyways thanks in advance

Longnose R200 -weight 76 lbs - Came in 260Z 2+2, 280Z manual, 75-76 automatic and 2+2, Z31, 200SXT
Shortnose R200 - weight 72 lbs - Later model 240SX, Q45 1989-1996, R32 Skyline, 300ZX NA, 350Z

Im still searching and found nothing. Wuld you know if the r200 would fit a r180 pumpkin?

from what ive read, yes the nismo r180 lsd will fit into a r200 pumpkin.

Hey would you happen to have the listings of those sites? If i am going to crack the diff open i want to make sure it'll fit before i proceed if ya can send the links i'll love you forever lol. Thanks man
